Green Eggs & Ham....Sam I Am!

Oh I so like green eggs & ham.  What started as a mission with one school in 1996 to get the parents to read with their kids has grown to 48 schools, county wide.  We will hit them with a Dr. Seuss breakfast complete with the Cat in the Hat, some cool hats & books, and parents.  We do it with the help of the Beach Team, the School Districts & their Foundations, and a bunch of volunteers.  It will be the last week in February over 5 mornings, feeding just over 7000 kids & parents.  Yes, it’s quite the production, but oh so much fun.  And yes, them thar eggs are really, really green!

Bridge the Gap is a community outreach program designed to enrich the lives of abused and neglected children in Clark County. To do this, Bridge The Gap provides resources to enhance the stability, growth and success of children in foster and adoptive care. Our vision is to “give every child a childhood”.  We have helped thousands of children since 1999 with: tutoring, athletics, afterschool activities, scholarships, music, art, school supplies, graduation expenses, clothing, holiday gifts and more.
